I just loved how these turned out! They were loads of fun to paint too.
I think I am going to work on several of these flowers over the next few days. Wouldn't they would look great hung in a grouping.

Antique Fan

We found this old fan at an antique store several years ago.
It is pretty heavy too. I bet in it's day it really put out a breeze.

When I first painted this, the background was way too dark.
I went back and worked on the background and it made all the difference. Now you can see the dishes better...

Asiatic Lilly

I have been quiet the past few days, but have
been painting up a storm. Sometimes a groove comes
alongs and you just don't want to stop for anything.
It seems like during that time, I don't sleep very
well becuase my mind in still painting. It will catch
up with me in a day or two and I will crash :0)

with my friend the other day and I just couldn't
pass it up. I also found a large piece of pottery
that I look forward to working into a painting.

My neighbor had these cute little daffodils
coming up in his yard the other day. I spotted
them out my kitchen window and meant to get them
then but I forgot to and that night we had a
snow storm come through and covered the ground with
a few inches or so. When the snow melted, I saw that
these little guys survived so I ran out and snipped
a few :0)

Looking Up

I had painted a larger tree similar to this one
several days ago, so I decided to see what the
smaller version would look like...I think in
the future, I may try some of these in the
different seasons.

Curtains

I can't remeber if I mentioned this before,
but when I use stretched canvas, I always use
the gallery stretched, which means no staples on
the sides. It allows you to hang or display without
a frame but at the same time, if you desire to frame
them, you can...This painting was done in very loose
brush strokes giving it a dimensional look..

Cherry Bowl

Painting white is such a hard thing for me~~
I will keep practicing though as I do want
to get the right tone. I did like the way
the cherries turned out though :0)
